Pursuit Of Happiness
Every one's got a pursuit, whether its to make it to a place, for a thing, the right person or even a lifestyle. We all long for something we believe will make us fulfilled, complete, and most important HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY.
For some, Happiness is in the vicinity, in everyday life is self.
For others happiness is far far away, life it self is miserable and their happiness requires unrelenting patience
I rarely Pray before going to sleep but whenever I do, I give as much thanks as much as I ask God to help fill any void in my life. Because I know as bad as I may have it or think I my have it. It is without a doubt many people suffer from far worse case scenarios. And realising that most my Desires and Demands are materialistic (not all)
It would be vain to think the Lord is ignoring my prayers by not sending forth that Brand new Bentley or the chinchilla winter jacket I ask for for this Christmas.lol.......
even though am quite industrious and I haven't been too naughty this year.lol
But I catch myself thinking and thanking God for providing me with a fully functioning //slash// Active Mind, Body, and Soul and asking for Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding, so when faced with whatever situation you may have you. I execute them triumphantly instead of regrettably like the Bible says a fool would
Sometimes I wonder if people (particularly Adults) in this day and age can distinguish the difference between happiness and success, after all happiness isn't necessarily success and success doesn't necessarily mean happiness. In fact success can mean so many different things to different people
Success: Is simply to set a goal and achieving it....BIG or small...For instance
Last night I was successful in having an orgasm but that's not what this post is about..Suckerrrsss.
God forbid for instance: A hard working student who spent years in an academic learning institute having to come to terms with the reality of life that sometimes an entry level position next to settling for an average paying job is most likely the alternative route they'll have to take to slowly getting to where he/she desires...then begins the pursuit of happiness and the balance of trying to stay happy while doing so
Lack of happiness is a fear of many people and an ordeal many are facing. but I believe its a physiological thing, a mind trick, depends on your mind state and how you perceive things
Like If you're single and unhappy about it. That's one way to look at it or you can be Pessimistic and think Well I'm single so I can be as promiscuous as I want to be and not feel tooo bad about it because I have no one significant to answer to
Or if you can't get that new car for Christmas, just take a second to wonder how people used to survive thousands of years ago without all the technology we over consume in today. Society has made some people tools for marketing their business ideas to, creating a disillusion that without the latest Item on the market you are a NOBODY, hence the unhappiness.
I can go on but yawl don't pay my bills lol what am trying to say is
The Moral of the story is:
Its all about how you look at life so this Christmas my gift to anyone reading this is happiness...
Here's A joke I heard while writing this post
A couple were relaxing in bed briefly after sex. The Girl says to the guy: My,we haven't done it in so long I almost forgot how BIG you were. The Guy replies I was thinking the same thing about you too...lol
There Mr. Santa Claus I said it,wasn't that nice,
now can I please get my wishes for this Christmas. lol
